As a welcome for campers, Shadow Buddies are used at specialty camps to help ease the first day jitters. Backpacks include necessities, fun stuff, and a Shadow Buddy that reflects the camps medical focus. Endorsed by camp counselors and nurses, Buddies are used to teach the children about their medical condition and promote a positive image. Buddies become year-long reminder of the new friendships they made at camp.

Once again we are excited to announce that we have teamed up with Nova Nordisk to provide backpacks to special kids attending ADA camps in the St. Louis and Kansas City metro areas!  Just look at the backpacks and sleeping bags the kids attending a diabetic camp will get to enjoy!
